The study has a long history in China, evolving from a space forintellectual exchange among literati to a creative workspace, andfinally, to a modern learning space. The development of technology hassignificantly transformed our learning environments, with digital productsand the internet causing us to lose many moments of focused study. Iintend to explore the origins and iterations of Chinese learning and studyculture through research, aiming to discuss the future development ofearning spaces. By studying the origins and evolution of Chinese studyand learning culture,I plan to redesign the characteristics of study spacesfrom two different eras. Through the dissection and recombination of keyelements, I aim to redefine the study as a space that integrates intellectualexchange and environmental experiences.
in recent years, the removal of neon signs in Hong Kong has caused astir in public opinion. Since the mid-20th century, neon lights have lit upthe streets of Hong Kong and constituted the urban landscape of HongKong, which has witnessed an era of glory. This reminds me of thetime when some government officials proposed tearing down Beijing'scenturies-old city walls to define the city center. What we lose is not justa sign, a wall, an old city, but the meaning behind the sign, the sense ofidentity and belonging that people have accumulated over the years for aplace. Every city should have a unique symbol of city memory, which isa city's culture. I combined elements of the neon signs of Beijing Hutongand Hong Kong's old town, and added some elements of the facadematerials of skyscrapers to create a vertical architectural model thatblends indoor and outdoor Spaces. Even though these urban elementswill disappear, l want to preserve them in this way.
This static device is made of wood, covered with metal film, brushed silverilm, brushed gold film, imitation rust paint, imitation bark cloth, imitationstone paint, and various spray paint. My idea for this installation wasto take graffiti elements and overlay them on an abstract and modernbuilding. Doodling is my personal hobby. The metal and rusty elementsare from lathes in abandoned factories. Many abandoned factorieshave been decorated with graffiti. The outer layer of the installation iscovered with two layers of wood panels, which are covered from theinside to the outside with imitation stone paint and imitation bark clothsrespectively. I want to express the evolution of the architecture - from thefirst stone house to the later wooden house. Graffiti city, modernization.abandonment, these keywords run through the entire installation.
Tattooing is my favorite art form, and there is a style called the old Japanesetraditional NUKEKUBl. The ancient Japanese samurai tattooed the head otthe enemy, a symbol of difficulties, on their body as a trophy, representingthe defeat of difficulties in life. And what are the difficulties and pressuresthat we modern people face? Family, school, career, society, these are all thepressures and difficulties faced by modern people.am no exception, but the way to solve the problem is never escape, theproblem is solved is a kind of escape. Cities are full of tall buildings, andpeople live in them but are trapped in them. l overcome the immediatedifficulties, but there are many factors to restrain me, I seem to have escapedfrom the "prison", but scarred, the face is pierced by steel bars, the soul istorn. want to live in a fantasy, but I have to face the reality. The end was good. iovercame the difficulty and escaped. I took this idea and combined it with theelements of architectural space to create this model
