The flood event in Chongqing in the summer reminds me often current rising sea level, and I speculate that maybe we will inevitably encounter disasters brought by water in the future, or maybe the world we live in will be completely submerged by water in the future. Therefore, in this project will explore the clothing that humans will wear in the future adapt to the water world.

This project is related to the Persian culture I am interested in based on the prints on the costumes ofl my favorte Disney Princess Jasmine when was a child and the decorative carnets in her castle. Princess Jasmine comes from India, so I learned that India believes in the architectural printing style of Islam, and developed a strong interest in Islamic architecture and patterns on carpets.

In mythology, monsters are often non-human beings, things that people fear. Recently in my life, I have been exposed to modern day 'monsters' as well. There are many people who are dissatisfied with themselves because of cosmetic anxieties, who are deceived into making what they believe to be beautiful choices through modern medical aesthetics, only to end up asl 'monsters' in the eyes of others because of failed plastic surgery. I have been around similar situations.
